Ainsworth State Park

April 18th 2009
1st camping trip of the season..
We stayed overnight at Ainsworth State Park (Mile Marker 35, off I-84.
State park is 1st come, 1st serve with about 45 site, all full hookups and was only
$12 a night... I am sure that will change shortly as we head into the Summer season.
We were lucky enough to get a pull thru spot (A-7), so we didn't even have to unhook
the truck.
With the full hookups, we were able to un-winterize our holding tanks and clean up
everything from the winter storage, which didn't end of being much, and it still had
that nice "new car" smell!
We were able to try out our new dog pen, a 4x4 exercise pen and found out it was going to
be a life saver for our many trips. The dogs loved it and we loved the freedom it gave both
of us.

Here's my Happy Camper, with his first camp fire of the season...
